The event brought together a diverse group of young individuals interested in science and history. The focal point of this gathering was Makhachkala Professional and Pedagogical College, which served as the venue for more than 200 students to convene and engage in the event. These students, seated in the auditorium, actively participated in a video conference, responding to the questions posed during the dictation.

Meanwhile, other students participated remotely, contributing to the overall success of the event.

This scientific dictation served as part of a series of events commemorating the Day of Russian Science and marking the 80th anniversary since the conclusion of the World War Two, also known as the Great Patriotic War. During this period, prominent Soviet scientists, including physicists, mathematicians, chemists and biologists, played a pivotal role in securing victory and making groundbreaking discoveries that forever transformed the field of science.
