Lina Rasulova, a wrestler from Dagestan, emerged victorious at the All-Russian Women's Wrestling tournament named after renowned athlete and Honored Master of Sports of Russia Anna Shamova. The event took place in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, a city near Moscow. Rasulova became the strongest in the weight category up to 50 kg.

Besides, four other athletes from Dagestan wrestling school demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving second-place finishes in their respective weight categories: Diana Gadzhieva (53 kg), Patimat-Zahra Malakayeva (76 kg), Kira Solobchuk (55 kg) and Lilia Vitskopova (72 kg).
