Dagestani athletes claimed two gold medals at the prestigious international women's boxing tournament in Moscow, held in honour of Esteemed Master of Sports of Russia Sofia Ochigava. Participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus, among others, competed in the event. In the weight categories of 57 and 66 kilograms, respectively, Abutay Omarova and Patimat Magomedova emerged victorious, representing Dagestani team under the guidance of coach Saadat Dalgatova.
