Belarusian airline Belavia is planning to launch direct flights from cities in Belarus to cities in Russia. This year there will be two new destinations for such flights: Makhachkala and Murmansk, the company’s deputy director general for marketing Vladimir Barkun said.

As to the top manager, the company sees "good demand" for flights from Belarusian regions to Russian cities, which are already served by aircraft from Minsk. "There are plans to open a flight from Minsk to Makhachkala in 2024, we haven't worked in this direction before" the company representative is quoted as saying.
