Dagestani couturiers become triumphant winners of DonFashionWeek

Dagestan Light Industry Association became the triumphant winner of the DonFashionWeek fashion week, winning the main prize. The event was held on June 1-3 in Rostov-on-Don. Collections of 14 Dagestani designers were presented on the catwalk. Special attention was paid to the traditional men's burqa, which the designers proposed to wear by women. The collections also used elements of Dagestani handicrafts: scarves, patterns, embroidery, wood and metal engraving.
