KASPIYSK, March 19 – РИА Dagestan. The Russian Youth Weightlifting Championship for boys and girls is scheduled to take place from March 24 to April 1 at the Ali Aliev Sports Palace in Kaspiysk. The tournament is expected to bring together more than 500 participants from various regions of the Russian Federation, representing the season's largest competition in this age category.
Athletes will compete in two age groups—13–15 years and 13–17 years—with medals to be awarded across 20 weight categories.
As to Said Abdulaev, President of Dagestan Weightlifting Federation, the organizers have established all necessary conditions for participants, including a special training zone located directly at the competition venue. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for March 24 at 2:00 PM. The Weightlifting Federation official notes that spectators may attend the event in person or view a livestream broadcast via VK Video.
