More than 30 million liters of mineral water have been produced in Dagestan since the beginning of 2024. In the first quarter of this year, 30.7 million liters were produced in Dagestan alone. Overall, the North Caucasian Federal District produced 238 million liters in the first three months of 2024, compared to 292 million in the same period last year, a decrease of 18.4%.

Among the regions in the district, Stavropol and Karachay-Cherkessia led the way with 91.9 and 85.1 million liters respectively. North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, and Chechnya produced 14.2, 10.6, 4.2, and 1.4 million liters each. Together, the North Caucasian regions account for about one-third of the total mineral water production in the country.
