The republican broadcasting company was established by decree of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan dated December 5, 2003. For present, the Republican State Broadcasting Company "Dagestan" is the leading television channel of the region. Under the leadership of the company director Kamila Gamzatova the channel has made a big rebranding, RSBC "Dagestan" is actively developing his sattelites in the social networks, the broadcasting in national languages became more diversified.

The guests came to congratulate the employees of the TV company and highly appreciate the work of the state media. Mayor of Makhachkala Yusup Umavov was among the honored guests of the event. In his welcoming speech he pointed out the professionalism of the TV channel's employees.
