The zonal stage of the All-Russian festival-contest of amateur creative groups of the South and North Caucasian Federal Districts will be held in Dagestan on May 3-5. The event is held within the framework of the national project "Culture".

"The collectives from the South and North Caucasus Federal Districts as well as from Lugansk People's Republic will take part in the zonal stage. The Honored Artist of Russia, theater and film actor Igor Fokin, Director of the House of Folk Arts named after V.V.D. Polenov, Professor T.T. Polenova, and others will evaluate the performance skills of the participants.

Kumyk State Drama and Music Theater named after A. P. Salavatov will host the Festival-Contest in the "Culture is Us" category. Theater, circus, choreographic groups, brass bands and academic choirs will take part in the event. Dagestan will be represented by Kizlyar Phoenix Theater and Pekhlevan Circus Group.

The All-Russian Festival-Contest for Amateur Creative Groups has been held since 2019 as part of the national "Culture" project. It aims to preserve the intangible cultural heritage of Russia's peoples and support creative initiatives that encourage self-expression, especially among talented children and young people.
