Dagestan emerges as one of the North Caucasian regions that has successfully improved its discipline in terms of timely payment for consumed gas. This issue was discussed during a meeting chaired by Vladimir Nadygin, the Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the North Caucasian Federal District.
In 2024, the overdue payments for gas in the North Caucasian Federal District decreased by more than 11%. The collaborative efforts with the authorities in the North Caucasian regions have significantly contributed to the ongoing enhancement of payment discipline, yielding substantial results. Between 2020 and 2024, the reduction in arrears amounted to almost one-quarter.
In 2025, the focus will shift towards bolstering all aspects of work aimed at improving payment discipline. This encompasses the development of remote services for gas payments, the establishment of Unified Heat Supply Operators and the escalation of claims and legal actions, Nadygin said.
