The organizers of pop-MMA fights may turn out to be extremists. This assumption was made by State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev. "We need to completely block such projects and content that may trigger destructive behavior in young people. I stand for checking pop-MMA founders and participants for extremism as well as to conduct a comprehensive inspection by the Federal Tax Service" – Khamzaev is quoted as saying.

As to the politician, the pop-MMA fights exert a dangerous and destructive influence on young people. Besides, the pop MMA athletes use obscene language, display aggression and stupidity so that there is a doubt whether this show can be called a sport.

Khamzaev promised to submit two official requests to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin and the head of the Interior Ministry Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
