The Territorial Development Foundation approved the application of Dagestan for the modernization of housing and communal services under the new program. As noted in the commentary of Director General of the Foundation Ilshat Shagiakhmetov: “In Dagestan, 9.2 km of networks will be updated, while the quality of services provided will improve for about 183,000 people.” As to the republican Ministry of Construction the amount of financial support will amount to 2.36 billion rubles. The funds received will be used to implement the concept for the construction of treatment facilities in the Makhachkala-Kaspiysk agglomeration. The work will be carried out in four areas: - reconstruction of the main pumping station of Makhachkala; - reconstruction of Kaspiysk sewage pumping station; - construction of 2 pressure sewer collectors in Kaspiysk; - construction of a deep-water outlet for sewage.
