RUR 27 billion to be allocated for construction of social infrastructure in Northern Caucasus
Makhachkala, July 30, 2015. The deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin made public the results of the last meeting of Government Commission on socio-economic development of North Caucasus Federal District chaired by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow, the press service of Dagestani Head and government’s administration told the RIA Dagestan.
In particular, Khloponin noted that the state program of the Russian Federation "The development of the North Caucasus Federal District until 2025 " would be implemented in two stages, the first one planned to be completed in 2016. The deputy Prime Minister told about the decision to invest into the construction of social infrastructure. The necessity to build a large number of new educational facilities is caused, according to Alexander Khloponin, by quite a high birth rate in the region.
"We plan to construct educational, medical and preventive treatment, health care facilities across the North Caucasus until 2016.
About 27 billion rubles will be allocated for all these purposes. Today, we are now discussing new approaches to the formation of the investment program. The funds will be sent exclusively for the investment projects, that means only the projects approved by the Government of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs will be implemented"- Alexander Khloponin resumed.
