Today, November 20th, the first deputy prime minister Ruslan Aliyev, chaired a meeting of the Competition Commission for the selection of locally initiated projects. The republican budget has allocated RUB 200 million for their implementation in 2025. Following the competitive selection process, 49 projects have been recognized as winners.

It is worth noting that the competition received 92 applications from 35 municipalities in Dagestan, including 26 from districts, 52 from villages and 14 from urban districts. Of these, 12 came from municipalities with lower budgetary capacity, requesting a total grant amount of RUB 35.34 million.

36 applications were rejected due to missing required documents. The remaining 80 (including 8 from municipalities with less financial capacity), with a total requested grant amounting to RUB 388.38 million were accepted for further consideration.
