Dagestan and Saratov Technical Universities sign cooperation agreement
Makhachkala, December 29, 2014. Dagestan State Technical University and Gagarin Saratov State Technical University signed a cooperation agreement, the DSTU press service informed RIA Dagestan.
The document implies collaboration in education and science, organizing effective higher and postgraduate education, training highly qualified specialists, boosting staff’s career enhancement, and integrating vocational education and science.
The universities’ cooperation will embrace elaborating and exchanging educational literature and teaching aids, preparing joint scientific monographs, scientific and methodological publications, scientific and popular publications, articles, reviewing essays and guidance papers, and spreading information about methodical developments and academic programs.
Particular attention is given to specialists’ academic exchange within educational and scientific programs aimed at teaching, lecturing, and researching in areas of mutual interest. The parties also developed a mechanism of exchanging students, undergraduates and graduate students, and providing all conditions for deepening theoretical and practical knowledge as well as for practical training.
The universities announced they were eager to conduct joint research and experiments thus involving students, undergraduates and graduate students in working in priority areas of basic and applied research.
Rectors Tagir Ismailov (DSTU) and Igor Pleve (SSTU) signed a 5-year agreement with a possible extension.
