Daghestan State Technical University staff participates in a refresher workshop in Moscow

Makhachkala, June 16, 2014. Employees of the DSTU’s ‘Russian as a foreign language’ testing point for foreign citizens and stateless persons returned from a workshop held in Moscow at the People's Friendship University, the DSTU press service told RIA "Dagрestan".
The head of the migration service board responsible for conducting the testing in the DSTU Aida Fatullaeva and senior lecturer of the Russian language department, Candidate of Philology Olga Kurbanova participated in a seminar within the training program called "Methods and approaches in teaching Russian, Russian history and Russian legislation to pass the integration exam". Daghestan was also represented by members of testing centers from the North Caucasus Federal District, and officials from the Dagestan office of the Russian Federal Migration Service.
The workshop was held by the Russian Peoples' Friendship University (RUDN) on behalf of the Russian ministry of education and science as part of preparations for introducing an integration exam in Russian, Russian history and Russian legislation for migrant workers in January, 2015.
The university was represented by Director of the RUDN International Testing Center Ekaterina Kulikova and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor with the RUDN department of Russian history Marina Moseykina.
At the round table, participants discussed substantive aspects of the integration exam and the ways to improve it. At the end of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates.
