The 45th final scientific and technical conference of teachers, postgraduates and students of Dagestan State Technical University "Week of Science-2024" has been held within the framework of the Festival of Science. Opening the event, the Vice Rector on Scientific-Research Activity of DSTU Shirali Yusufov reported about the work done by the university staff in 2023.
"Last year within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities", the scientific teams of the departments carried out significant research work in 12 major research areas. 24 monographs, 22 collections of scientific works were published in 2023. More than 150 scientific events were held. The representatives of the university submitted 15 applications for registration of inventions, computer programs and databases, received 21 patents and 2 certificates for computer programs. They also participated in contests and target programs and received awards" - Yusufov said.
Besides, Shirali Yusufov outlined the priority directions for further development of science in the university.
Then Magomed Akhmedov, Professor of the Department for Food Production Technology, Catering and Commodity Science, told about new resource-saving technical solutions in technologies and hardware support of processing enterprises.
In turn, Associate Professor of the Department for Software, Computer Science and Automated Systems Tagirbek Aslanov told about his project "Making Changes in the Training Programs for Schoolchildren on the Basis of Prediction of Subject Learning Outcomes".
Khanzada Zainulabidova, Assistant Professor of the Architecture Department presented a report "Seismic in Dagestan and beyond". In her speech she mentioned the main factors influencing the seismicity of territories.
Apart from a plenary session, 18 sections of the scientific and technical conference, as well as 40 university and faculty events (round tables, scientific seminars, workshops, master classes, competitions, viewing of scientific documentaries, exhibitions, debates etc.) are held.
