DSU students participate in All-Russian Students’ Forum
Makhachkala, September 8, 2015. The activists of students’ union organization and Students' Scientific Association of Dagestan State University took part in the All-Russian Student Forum, held at the Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don on September 3 - 5, the university press service reports.
The main purpose of the Forum is to elaborate the Students' Unions Development Strategy aimed at creating a favourable setting for young people to realize their professional, creative and social potential.
2000 students are reported to take part in the Forum under the supervision of leading experts in education sphere.
The Forum started with a plenary session, the military-historical reconstruction and the official opening ceremony with the procession of banner bearers and participants representing all 85 regions of Russia.
The program of the All-Russian Student Forum was divided into 5 directions, and into 15 platforms. The platform entitled "Social standards in education", supervised by the Student Coordinating Council of Trade Unions of Russia, was attended by three members of Dagestan State University: the member of the housing commission Arthur Mahmudov, the chairman of the commission for health improvement Gulnara Aliyeva and the chairman of the legal affairs committee Haletdin Kurbanov.
Another platform presented by Dagestan State University was "Youth Entrepreneurship". As it was reported the All-Russian public organization "Association of student business incubator of young entrepreneurs and scientists in Russia” was established by the forum participants.
Besides, the forum activists met with the renowned Russian officials, the heads of leading universities and youth leaders. The forum brought together the Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov and his deputy Ekatherina Tolstikova, the director of the department of State Policy in the Sphere of Children andYouth Upbringing Alexander Stradze, the president of the Russian Union of Rectors Viktor Sadovnichy and many other officials.
The forum ended with a colorful closing ceremony.
The Forum program included a number of activities: workshops and lectures delivered by famous scientists, master-classes and skills development courses, meetings with well-known leaders in different spheres. The meetings with the Russian Education and Science Minister Dmitry Livanov and the Youth Affairs Agency Head Sergei Pospelov were held as well.
