The event is attended by heads of regional universities, teachers from Makhachkala schools and the representatives of ministries and agencies. The official opening ceremony was preceded by a colorful performance by the ensemble "Kapelka" of the Children's School of Arts No. 2.

The event participants demonstrated in details the transformation of the educational system from the Soviet Union to modern Russia. Asiyat Abakarova, the head of the Makhachkala Historical Park, noted that the exhibition organizers especially welcome the acting teachers and future pedagogues.

"The exhibition gives an understanding of what the Russian Ministry of Education is working on today and what the future of our country's education system looks like," Abakarova says. The Historical Park director added that the exhibition in Makhachkala will run till March 17 and can be visited free of charge.
