The dialogue was useful and rich. Every scholar made a report on individual items, instructed the young people and advised them to keep up the principals of traditional Islam.

In his turn, Usman Ahmed Abdulrahim, Doctor of Science in Quran studying told the young people that in life it was necessary, first of all, to establish itself in religion, to preserve the health that Allah has given to man; to create and to safeguard a family, to get an education.

The young people displayed interest in the events in Syria and asked about the possibility of students’ exchange among Dagestan and Arab universities for improving the language and gaining experience.

"Those people who go beyond the law and become terrorists in Syria and Libya are called jihadists. In fact, what is happening there, very far from the meaning of jihad. The murder of a Muslim by another - this is not jihad. Jihad is when Muslims defend their homeland if an aggressor attacks it. What happens there has nothing to do with Islam, "- Usman Ahmed said.

Let us remind, that Muslim scholars will stay in Dagestan till September 8. Tomorrow, Makhachkala House of Friendship will host the International Theological Conference on "International experience in strengthening the unity of the Muslims: modern forms and methods."
