"Poddubny" film producer meets with "Mashuk-2015" Youth Forum participants
Makhachkala, August 3, 2015. The renowned producer Vadim Goryainov met with the participants of the North - Caucasian Youth Forum "Mashuk - 2015". Goryainov told about the specifics of his profession and answered the questions of Forum participants.
As to Goryainov, the Russian cinema industry is now in good condition, but it is not fully in business. "Movie shooting process is still unprofitable in Russia. Firstly, the piracy remains the biggest problem for producers. Now, the state bodies started to effectively struggle with it, and I hope that in the future, the cinematography will bring adequate income"- Goryainov noted.
According to the producer, the other problem common for different film studios is the monopoly of Hollywood, the world leader for hire. Goryainov spoke out against the idea of introducing quotas for foreign films. Only competition will allow the Russian film industry to grow efficiently.
Speaking with local activists, Vadim Goryainov proposed to create a studio for the production of regional films. By the way, it has already existed in Russia. "This is a very kewl and profitably. The local audience likes to watch such films"- the producer said.
In conclusion, addressing the novice actors, Goryainov advised to receive specialized education to try themselves in movie as certified specialists.
