Dagestan authorities plan to complete the construction of a water pipeline for the village of Karata in the Ahvakh municipal district in December 2024, the regional Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Communal Services reports.

Its construction is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Clean Water" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". "The total length of the main water pipeline will be more than 24 km. The estimated water supply flow will make approx. 1.5 thousand cubic meters per day", - the Ministry official says.

At the same time, the project provides for the installation of high-strength pipes, while water intake, cleaning and supply to the consumers will be carried out by gravity, not using pumping stations.
