St. Petersburg governmental land committee meets with Dagestan delegation
St. Petersburg, March 10, 2015. The northern capital’s Committee on Land Resources and Land Management took in visitors from Dagestan - official Makhachkala representative in St. Petersburg Gadji Ismailov, head of the land information system control Gadji Gassanov and the head of the geodetic cadastral office of Makhachkala Merzebeg Emiraliev.
Participants discussed critical issues related to the changes in the Russian land legislation and its application this March: organization of taking stock of buildings and land parcels, establishment of a Russian regional object-address system, the procedure of municipal land control, implementation of the cadastral registration of land parcels while demarcating state ownership of land, and the ways of summarily registration of real estate.
Dagestan delegation took particular interest in the St. Petersburg regional land information system. The fact is that in Makhachkala, they are actively working on establishing this type of system, and the organizers asked a lot of questions as for applying the system, its legal framework, data collection, and technical specifications. The St. Petersburg committee specialists demonstrated the guests all the system’s characteristics. Later, the two delegations exchanged their views and experiences and agreed to continue their successful cooperation.
Concluding the meeting, Gadji Ismailov thanked Valery Kalugin and other representatives of the committee for the warm welcome and the opportunity to receive useful information, and gave the northern capital side Dagestani souvenirs.
