Ivan Vysochinsky, a documentary photographer from Stavropol, displays interest to the condition of land used for remote cattle breeding in the northern part of Dagestan. As part of his nine-day stay in the Nogai municipal district, Vysochinsky created a project called "Alive: Desert of the Nogai Steppe".
