Winner project of Mashuk 2014 North Caucasus Youth Forum “Flying vision of the Caucasus” to be implemented in Daghestan
Makhachkala, November 17, 2014. The winner project of Mashuk 2014 North Caucasus Youth Forum “Flying vision of the Caucasus” is to be implemented in Daghestan.
The main goal of the project is to disclose the unique geography, historical and architectural sights of the North Caucasus from the height of bird flight. According to author of the project, new angle panoramas allow to increase the attractiveness of the region and to develop Daghestanis’ interest to the aero tourism.
The territory of the North Caucasian Federal District is rich in unique natural, historical and architectural sights, that making it one of the tourist centers in Russia. There are over 100 unique attractions situated on the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District. Caucasus Mountains are really breathtaking with its magnificent panorama of ridges and peaks, numerous caves and waterfalls, endless meadows.
However, it is not possible to see and to appreciate the magnificent panorama for most people. Camera and video materials of North Caucasus attractions from a bird's-eye view aerial view is extremely poor, single and not systematic, which does not allow to show the attractiveness of the region.
The project’s author managed to collect unique photographs of the North Caucasus, to arrange them and to prepare a photo-journal «Flying vision of the Caucasus» and a multimedia DVD-ROM, which will be available for Daghestanis soon. It is planned to extend the photo-journal in youth organizations, committees, libraries, travel agencies.
Nabi Magomedov’s photographic materials were successfully presented at the All- Russia photo contest "Russia is my destiny".
