Grappler Surkhai Assadulaev wins European championship

Sofia, Bulgaria, October 27, 2014. Daghestani Surkhai Assadulaev won the ADCC European grappling championship which finished in Sofia, Bulgaria, earlier in the week, president of the NCFD Grappling Federation Murad Abdullaev reports.
Assadulaev is the first Russian ADCC European grappling champion ever. No Russian athlete has ever won the title before.
Assadulaev had 4 fights with Poland’s favourites of the tournament to end up with 2 early and 2 hard victories.
Interestingly, ADCC European grappling championships are held every other year. Winning the tournament means qualifying for the prestigious ADCC international tournament in 2015.
