Konstantin Avanesov’s trainee Rasul Nazirov from the prestigious M. Gusayev Sports School in Makhachkala, has once again demonstrated his exceptional talent at the Russian Table Tennis Championship held in Tula region and took the lead in both individual and doubles events. This remarkable achievement not only solidifies his status as a 10-time national champion but also significantly enhances his prospects for the participation in the prestigious European Championships scheduled to take place in Sweden in November 2025.

Noteworthy, 4 individuals from Dagestan participated in the tournament in Tula. Nariman Azikaabakarov, Seidula Aliyev and Sulayban Nurbagomedov performed along with Nazirov. Nurbagomedov in particular, showcased his skills by finishing fifth in the doubles event with Evgeny Dolinsky.
