The number of newly opened catering facilities in Dagestan was one of the highest in Russia. Experts of the Kontur Market system of catering automation services attribute this to the continuous growth of the tourists’ inflow.

According to some data, in the first quarter of 2023 about 350-370 catering facilities opened in Dagestan (more than 400 for the incomplete first quarter of 2024). In total, 192,1 thousand new catering facilities will be registered in 2024 in the country.
