MAKHACHKALA, February 18 – RIA “Dagestan”. Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergei Melikov chaired a meeting of the Commission on Budget Revenue Enhancement, where 2025 fiscal results and measures to formalize informal economic activity were reviewed.
The consolidated republican budget received tax and non-tax revenues exceeding RUB 90 billion in 2025, representing a 36% year-on-year increase and 115% fulfillment of the annual target. Revenues to local budgets rose by nearly 30%, reaching RUB 24.2 billion; however, six municipalities failed to meet their planned indicators due to irregularities in land relations and insufficient financial discipline.
Notable revenue growth was recorded in several categories: the mineral extraction tax tripled to RUB 168.5 million, while collections under the patent-based taxation system reached 149% of the target and the tax on professional income reached 178% of the planned amount.
Melikov instructed the heads of municipalities that failed to meet revenue targets to analyze the underlying causes and submit reports detailing corrective actions. The regional governor also stressed the importance of strict compliance with industrial safety regulations in preparation for the launch of two newly licensed quarries.
