The number of new buildings located near the beach has grown in the region to a record 16.9%. Dagestan became the leader - almost 64% of new buildings currently under construction are located near the sea coast. As to statistic data of the Unified Register of Developers of Russia the city of Sevastopol (57,1%) and the Republic of Crimea (54.8%) entered the top five Russia’s regions in terms of available landscaped beaches near the residential complexes.
