The creation of a wool processing cluster in Dagestan is expected to be completed this year, Magomed Isuev, director of the Regional Industrial Development Fund says. In terms of the issue, the republic has successfully defended the project at the federal "PROCLUSTERS" specialized Forum. Isuev added that the successful defense of the project will also allow to qualify for additional measures of state support.

It should be noted that 8 organizations have confirmed their participation in the creation of an industrial cluster for wool processing in the region. Four joint projects for the production of wool products have already been announced and are underway. The total value of goods to be produced is estimated at 1 billion rubles.
