Dagestan "Matlas" to compete with Arkhyz and Dombai resorts
Makhachkala, April 27, 2016. Approx. 20 billion rubles will be invested into the construction of tourist and recreational complex "Matlas" located in Khunzakh district of Dagestan - the press service of the republican Ministry of Tourism reported today in the first Tourist Forum of Southern Russia, which took place in Karachay-Cherkessia.
"In Dagestan, the construction of the ski complex is conducted within the project year-round tourist and recreational complex" Matlas "on the territory of the special economic zone “Khunzakh district". The “Matlas" JSC intends to invest up to 20 billion rubles into the construction of the resort" - the press service official Magomed Isayev says.
“We are speaking about investments into the entire complex, which will include all-weather thermal spa complex, a golf club, 18 holes, equestrian club, a ski resort and other facilities, - the ministry representative explained.
According to Isayev, the ski resort with European standard slopes may soon compete with the tourist and recreational complexes in Arkhyz and Dombai.
