The thesis has been voiced by Alexey Ravinsky, Director General of Zapusk Group. The top manager delved into the intricate dynamics of energy pricing in various regions of Russia. As to Ravinsky, the relatively low cost of electricity in Dagestan can be attributed to the abundance of power generation facilities, particularly the Sulak hydroelectric cascade.

Similarly, Khakassia, with its Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power plant and significant coal-fired plants, is also recognized as a region boasting affordable energy prices. Conversely, Chukotka, with its high cost of living, stands out as the most expensive region in terms of electricity, with prices reaching RUB 11.08 per kilowatt-hour in all settlements.
