Makhachkala, March 2, 2016. Yesterday, Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, being in a working visit in Iran, met with the deputy Director of the Central Bank of Iran Gholam Ali Kamyab. The sitting took place in Tehran, the press service of Dagestani Head and government’s administration informed the RIA "Dagestan".

The parties discussed the issues of cooperation and the development of prospective joint projects with the participation of Dagestani companies and the Central Bank of Iran. As to Ali Kamyab Russia is an important partner for the Central Bank and the friendly relations between Russia and Iran opens up good prospects for fruitful cooperation between Russian and Iranian commercial organizations.

Ramazan Abdulatipov called attention on the favorable conditions to develop cooperation among the companies of Dagestan and Iran.

"We have already been working fruitfully in the Islamic Republic of Iran for two days. In recent years, the relations between our countries were developing very dynamically. The day before we had agreed on a “Green corridor” project" for the mutual circulation of agricultural products and industrial goods.

We welcome Iranian businessmen who wish to work in Russia, particularly in Dagestan". Dagestani Head also invited many Iranian businessmen to come to Dagestan to explore investment opportunities and to discuss the possibilities for exchange of experience and the development of joint business.

"To date, the level of economic relations between the two republics do not correspond to the level of political dialogue. That is why I believe we need to create the political space to trigger economic relations. Dagestan is developing dynamically, experts say. In terms of the development of industry and agriculture, the republic occupies the leading positions among the other regions of the Russian Federation.

Over the past three years we have managed to significantly reduce the level of crime and to ensure the law and order. Today in Dagestan crime rate is three times lower than in Russia on average. But for normal economic relations, first of all, we need to ensure the safety for business", - Abdulatipov pointed out.

In response, Gholam Ali Kamyab expressed confidence that the parties are ready to strengthen the fruitful economic cooperation.
