Rosatom to build largest wind farm in Russia in Dagestan

Rosatom's Wind Power Division has received approval to build Novolakskoe wind power plant with a total capacity of 300 megawatts. The plant will consist of 120 turbines of 2.5 megawatts each, making it the largest wind power project in Russia. Novolakskaya WPP is expected to exceed the capacity of the current largest wind farm, Kochubeyevskaya, by more than 100 megawatts. It is expected to reach full capacity in 2026.
