For 10 months of 2023 the self-employed individuals increased the volume of tax payments by 32% in Dagestan. According to the regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments, from January to October 2023 the volume of tax payments on professional income amounted to 135 million rubles.

At the same time, the total number of registered self-employed reached 262.1 thousand people in the period past. The most popular types of activities among the self-employed in Dagestan are auto transportation, car service, trade in own production, cosmetology and hairdressing services.
