The construction of a large-scale industrial complex for trout farming has started in Nechayevka village, Kizilyurtovsky municipal district of Dagestan. The project developed by ROST Aqua LLC is aimed at promoting agricultural production and creating new jobs.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. At that point, the production capacity of the facility will reach 3,000 tons of trout annually. In the second half of the next decade, from 2027 to 2028, it is projected to double the capacity up to 7,000 tons per year.
To ensure efficient fish farming, the company plans to use special tanks and a liquid oxygen supply system to increase the density of the fish population. Besides, the specialists will organize processes for primary processing and shipping of products, as well as create a full-cycle fish processing facility.
It is anticipated that the project will generate more than 60 new jobs and the overall investment will amount to over RUB 1.4 billion. This represents a significant contribution to the economic growth of the region and will contribute to the social development of local communities.
