Uzbekistan declares readiness to purchase 10 thousand cattle in Dagestan

The head of Bukhara region of Uzbekistan, Botir Zaripov, expressed the country's interest in cooperating in the agricultural sector. Specifically, Zaripov highlighted the interest in wool and livestock from Dagestan. Uzbekistan is interested in supplying live cattle and needs at least 10,000 animals. Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Dagestan reported that the republic exported over 62,000 heads of cattle last year.
At the same time, mutton from Dagestan is exported to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
