Experts note a positive trend in both the number of transactions and the average purchase amount - over the year, these indicators increased by 50% and 35% respectively. The average amount spent on marketplaces reached 7 thousand rubles per month, which is 24% higher than in May 2023.

The most active buyers on marketplaces are consumers aged 22 to 45, in May 2024 the share of this category amounted to 61% in terms of spending volume and 58% in terms of quantity. The most dynamic demand for purchases on online marketplaces is growing among young people and older customers.

As of May 2024, the number of marketplace users under 22 years increased almost 2.5 times compared to the same period last year. Their spending increased almost 4 times, the number of purchases - more than 2 times and the average check - more than 1.5 times. In May, the number of shoppers over 65 making purchases in online marketplaces doubled. They spent 2.5 times more money, made nearly twice as many transactions and increased the average check by 28%.
