The wholesale trade turnover in the North Caucasian Federal District has demonstrated a remarkable increase of 10.8% in 2024 compared to the previous year, reaching the volume of almost RUB 1.6 trillion, the North Caucasian Statistical Service reports.

According to the Service's findings, growth in wholesale trade has been observed in all the constituent entities of the district, except for Ingushetia, which saw a decrease of 15.4%. In terms of the highest volumes of wholesale trade, Stavropol and Dagestan stood out, with RUB 991 million and RUB 251.7 million, respectively.

Regarding retail trade, Dagestan closed 2024 with a significant volume of RUB 925 million.
