Bashir Uvaysov’s exhibition to be held in Makhachkala as part of "Nuggets" project

Bashir Uvaysov’s exhibition "A Ray of a Marvelous Fire" organized by Daghestan ministry of culture and Daghestan House of Folk Arts is scheduled for 8-14 April at the Gamzatov Daghestan National Library in Makhachkala as part of the "Nuggets" project, a source in the House of Folk Arts told RIA " Daghestan".

Sculpture, engraving, and design is what has woven the life of a uniquely talented person who creates works of art not by order but on a creative impulse, an idea. Paradoxically, his creative pursuits brought to life do find lovers who understand their value. There has always been Bashir Uvaysov’s name in the creative life of Daghestani artists as a name of a talented and original artist. There’s never been doubt that he has a professional education,"- said the source.

Undoubtedly, many Daghestani and Makhachkala residents have seen Uvaysov’s works - "Cranes" (next to the "Children's World" department store), " Elegy" (a sculpture of a woman at the National Library), the lights on Gamzatov Avenue and Lenin Square with a complicated sculptural form of pillars, the aluminum composition "Glory of Labour" on the pediment of the House of Trade Unions, the first wrought-iron balconies and gates, and other works - it's just a small fraction of what the artist has created.

The exhibition will feature paintings and photographs of the author's works in towns and interiors of buildings. The exhibition will allow each viewer get acquainted with Uvaysov’s work and take a new look at his creative solutions shaping our towns.
