Russia International Exhibition and Forum opened at VDNKh in Moscow on November 4, 2023, and will run 161 days until April 12, 2024, from National Unity Day to Cosmonautics Day. For the first time in Russia’s recent history, its national achievements are presented in a comprehensible visual form at one venue. The exhibition features 31 expositions, including stands of all 89 regions, government agencies, state corporations, large companies, and public associations.

Today, December 8, the Day of Dagestan was held at the exhibition-forum. The republic presented an interactive lecture "Dagestan invites", four large-scale projects "Dagestan Wild Trail"; night race "Lights of Derbent"; running project "Caucasian Trail" and national tourist route "Legends of Dagestan".
The author of each project prepared a presentation and told how he came up with the idea, how quickly it was implemented and what it eventually resulted in.

"Dagestan Wild Trail", "Lights of Derbent", "Caucasian Trail" are more sports projects and are designed for different levels of training, but absolutely everyone can travel through beautiful locations within the tour "Legends of Dagestan".

"The whole 2,000-kilometer route can be covered in 2 weeks, but one can choose one or several sections. Apart from the visits to brand locations, 4 master classes are prepared for the tourists", - the representative of "DagTour" Anastasia Morozova said.

At the end of the lecture, the Minister of Tourism and Folk Crafts of the Republic of Dagestan Emin Merdanov promised the author of the Caucasus Trail project Irina Grushanina to cover some distance along the trail next year.
