The Ministry of Labour and Social Development of the Republic of Dagestan is actively involved in the process of integrating and accommodating 197 Palestinians, including 96 children, who temporarily reside in the region.
Out of the total number of newly arrived individuals, 138 are the Russian Federation citizens, while 129 have already been registered at their designated places of residence. Additionally, nine families receive a one-time grant.
Among the children, 69 attend school in the settlement of Gamiyakh, with four pursuing their education remotely through Egyptian schools. Furthermore, 21 are enrolled in kindergarten, while 13 individuals are currently enrolled in higher education institutions in the republic, enjoying exemption from tuition fees.
The regional Public Health Ministry has undergone a process of retraining 25 individuals with medical qualifications. As a consequence, six of these newly trained professionals have already found employment. The Ministry of Education has recruited two instructors, one specializing in English and the other in Arabic. The Agency for Entrepreneurship, in turn, has employed two individuals to work in a beauty salon. Additionally, another individual has successfully completed a 1C course in accounting. The efforts to facilitate employment opportunities for Palestinians are ongoing.
