Dagestan-based Association of Philanthropists «Friends of Mercy», in collaboration with several foundations, civil society organizations, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Dagestan, as well as Tersk Cossacks, have dispatched over 200 tons of humanitarian assistance to the new regions of Russia and Kursk Oblast, timed to coincide with the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The shipment included generators, construction materials, food, water, clothing and other essential items. The operation was orchestrated by the Association of Business Organizations of the Northern Caucasus «Vershina» and the Plenipotentiary Envoy of President of the Russian Federation to the North Caucasian Federal District.

The Association expresses gratitude to Rizvan Gazimagomedov, the deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan and Dzhambulat Salavatov, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Republic of Dagestan.
