This year, Dagestan authorities initiate a substantial program aimed at modernizing its water supply infrastructure. The allocation of RUB 1.3 billion from the regional budget will enable the provision of clean drinking water to approximately 60,000 residents of the republic. The project envisions the construction of 21 new water supply facilities and one wastewater treatment plant. Additionally, 240 kilometers of new pipelines will be installed across 15 municipal districts and 3 settlements within Makhachkala urban area.
