A delegation from Dagestan has arrived in Astrakhan to participate in the IX Caspian Media Forum. This year, the forum organizers set theme as "Dialogue of Cultures as the Foundation for the Development of the Caspian Region".

The republican delegation is led by Rashid Akavov, the head of the Information Policy and Press Service Department at the Office of Dagestani Head.

Over the years, the Forum has established itself as a reputable platform for discussing important issues related to cooperation in the fields of culture, media and innovations. This year, participants will discuss topics concerning the development of digital technologies in art and media, the revival of traditional arts, cinema as a universal language of communication, examples of cultural and historical unity in the Eurasian region and other areas that promote intercultural understanding.
