Experts register sharp increase in demand for buying country houses before the start of the summer season In Dagestan. On average in Russia, rural real estate (houses, dachas, cottages and townhouses) can be bought for about RUB 4.4 million (approx. $60,000).

However, in Dagestan, the average price remains at RUB 9 million (approx. $120,000), which is significantly higher than in other regions. Since the beginning of the year, prices have only increased marginally, by approximately 3%, therefore they are not as high as in other locations.

For instance, they are more expensive than in Leningrad Region, where the average cost is approx. RUB 8.5 million (approx. 110,000 dollars). And the most expensive locations are in Moscow Region, where one has to pay RUB 10.5 million for a dacha or cottage (approx. 140,000 dollars).
