Dagestan among regions with lowest share of high-productivity jobs

According to RIA Novosti research, Dagestan is one of the Russian regions with the lowest share of high-performance jobs. It took the penultimate place in the ranking based on the number of high-performance jobs per thousand employees. In the republic, there are only 93 highly productive jobs for every 1,000 workers.
Apart fr om Dagestan, the top ten regions also include Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania, Astrakhan Oblast, Stavropol Krai, Kalmykia and Ivanovo Oblast. In most of these regions, civil service constitutes the sector with the highest number of highly productive jobs.
The leaders of the rating are Yamalo-Nenets (890 jobs per 1,000 workers) and Chukotka (791 jobs per 1,000 workers) autonomous okrugs, wh ere there are 890 and 791 high-productivity jobs per 1,000 workers, respectively. The share of such places is also high in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The difference in the share of high-performance jobs among the leaders and the runners-up is 9-11 times.
