Special Military Operation participant Bakhtiyar Fataliev, a native of the village of Khorej in Khivski municipal district of Dagestan, has been awarded the Zhukov Medal. The corresponding decree on the award was signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Fataliyev has been awarded for courage and bravery displayed in military duty in the North Caucasian Military District.

The “Zhukov medal” is a Russian state award to servicemen of the Defense Ministry and other departments for their valor and bravery manifested in combat activity associated with the defense of homeland and state interests.
