Greco-Roman wrestler Dinislam Bammatov from Dagestan won a gold medal at the United World Wrestling (UWW) international ranking tournament in the Croatian capital. The Dagestani "classical" wrestler won the 63 kg weight category, defeating opponents from the United States, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Iran. Bammatov took the mat four times and won all his bouts with a total score of 37 to 0.
